What I do With The Income I Earn on This Website:

I am very grateful for the compensation I receive from the The Merrill Project website.

The income I earn provides the means to pay for hosting my website, payment processors, email list system, membership websites, advertisements and more, which I am continuing to grow.

Anything above and beyond those costs compensates me for time away from my family in order to maintain this website.  I try very hard to be sure that my husband and kids are always my first priority.  However, maintaining this site is not quite a full time job, but myself and my family do make sacrifices for it at times.  Our time is precious and I am glad that there are ways for me to be compensated for my time while helping and supporting others in becoming better prepared.

This income also enables my family to be more self reliant by paying down debt and increasing our savings.

Thank you for supporting me, my family, in this way!  As we earn more, we would love to start donating to charities.

How I am compensated:

My Own Products:

I have created and sell products such as worksheets, forms, lists, eBooks, recipe books and eCourses.  Much time is spent in making these products top notch and more detailed than what is available for free on my website.  In addition, I must pay to produce, host and protect these products.  As such, I charge for access to these products.

Affiliate Earnings:

I am an affiliate for various companies.  You will find links to these companies in my online store, blog posts and occasionally in my sidebar or footer.  If you click on a link and purchase, I will be compensated with a small commission at no additional cost to you (and often at a discount available only through affiliates).

Companies I am an affiliate for include Honeyville, Emergency Essentials, Augason Farm (hopefully soon),  Self Reliant School, and Zaycon.

In addition,  I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com

Ways I am Not Compensated:

I am not compensated to provide my opinion on products, services, websites or various other topics.  I do occasionally review products, but the only compensation I might receive for such reviews would be one free product (in order for me to preform a quality review), though I will more often do reviews at my own expense (I purchase the product).  I never accept direct monetary compensation for reviews.
I do not accept any type of advertising on my website.  You will not find sidebar ads or ads for other websites of any type.
