Christmas is a wonderful time of the year! As our kids are getting a little bit older, it’s been fun having them start to think about making Christmas gifts for each other. I know it’s only October… BUT, it’s time to start planning for Christmas.
I’m gonna be honest with you here… this is the first year in about 3 that I HAVEN’T had Christmas 100% planned out by October. And I’m OK with that… but it’s time to kick it into high gear and start planning on gifts for family, friends and co-workers.
This year, I was able to participate in providing a DIY Video for how to make a kids PVC Pipe Toy, and present it in the Christmas Bootcamp.

What is Christmas Bootcamp?
It is a short, training using videos to help you make personalized Christmas gifts for your loved ones. I LOVE the focus on Christ and the gift of giving during Christmas. As a Mom, it’s fun to think about what toys and activities will be “perfect” for my kiddos… but I’m not gonna like… I HATE all the material items. I am so picky picking out gifts for them because I want it to be a gift that helps them continuously learn, and enjoy for more than one month.
This is the same for gifts to friends and family. Christmas Bootcamp, is here to solve that problem.
You will have access to videos and written tutorials on making your OWN specialized gifts this year. Whether you want to make 20 bars of soap, or 20 infused syrups, or one each of the various crafts, you gain the knowledge and support you need to accomplish your goals.
What do I get?
When you sign up for this bootcamp, you join our online community and are given access to a dedicated Facebook group. Here you will receive the added support of people just like you, who have a desire to exchange handcrafted memories this Christmas.
There are 28 step-by-step tutorials (PDF’s including written instructions, and supplies) on how to make:
- Pot Holders
- An Essential Oil Diffuser
- Beeswax Wraps (I’m making these for myself…shhhh)
- Apple butter
- A Mug Cozy
- Hand Cream
- Quick Bread (the best kind)
- PVC Pipe Toys
- Gift Garden (this is a special advent gift)
- Holiday Cookies
- Bath Salts
- Paracord Jewelry
- Hard Apple Cider
- Tinted Lip Balm
- Cinnamon Ornaments
- Bar Soap
- Gluten Free Quick Bread
- And Infused Maple Syrup
And then there are more bonuses… you can read more about those on their Christmas Bootcamp page HERE.
Why would I DIY for Christmas?
- Typically you can save money… although SOME DIY projects do cost quite a bit, and take some time finding the right supplies
- You want to give someone a special unique gift
- Start new traditions with your children
