Are you having a hard time finding the BEST food storage recipes for your family?  Well, it’s probably because you’ve been looking in the wrong place.  Pinterest, google, facebook, recipe books… those are all the wrong places.

Download the simple 3 step strategy to building a food storage you’ll eat…AKA Not your Every Day Food Storage.

I bet you’re asking yourself… “If I’m not going to find the best recipes on Pinterest, then where will I find them?”

What are BEST recipes for food storage?

The recipes you use in your home!

Yep!  The BEST place to find food storage recipes is in your own home. Your meal planner, your families feed back.

So, how do you find the best recipes in your home?

Why?

First, you can guarantee your family will eat your food storage.

Second, when you use the meals you make now it’ll make make it easier to cook with your food storage.  Why?  Because you’ll only be adding in a few more shelf stable ingredients (dehydrated, powdered, canned, freeze dried) and making that meal will be much easier instead of reinventing the wheel making new recipes from scratch.

Third, it’s picky eater approved.

How to find the BEST food storage Recipes

So, which recipes are you using now, best for your food storage?

1. Look at your meal plan

For instance, if you meal plan and see which meals were family favorites.  Which meals did you family LOVE?  What meals had left overs… and you actually ate the left overs?  Which meals do you see popping into your monthly plan frequently?

These meals you’re thinking of are key recipes for your food storage.

2. Look through your recipe book/binder

However, if yo don’t meal plan, then flip through your favorite recipe books and binder.  Which recipes did you enjoy making?  What meals do your family love? Which meals use more frugal, filling ingredients?

These meals are great to use for your recipes.

3. Ask your picky eaters what they like

Which meals do your picky eaters LOVE your making?  Which meals do they keep asking you to make?  For me, our kids LOVE calzones.

Figure out which meals they love, and make those key recipes in your food storage.

In conclusion

As you can see, the best recipes for food storage are right under your nose.  They are the recipes you are already eating, making, using NOW.

All you have to do, is convert the fresh ingredients in your recipes to shelf stable ingredients for long term recipes.  If you’re interested in learning more about that, check out my Food Storage Master Class where I teach you exactly how to do just that.
